In 2007, after having lived in the UK for 5 years, I moved to the Netherlands. I rented a lovely little barn in Sassenheim for a few years before buying my own flat in Amsterdam. I always loved living there, though I have to admit that moving to Middelburg in 2020 felt like 'coming home' to me. This is also where I rediscovered my passion for hiking.
